He got out alive

Well, I had a nice end of the year post all laid out in my mind, but I've got two days to post that. Instead, I thought I'd post a picture of a coworker's Cobra after he rolled it going about 70 miles per hour. He swerved to miss another car and rolled down an embankment, was thrown out of the car, and blacked out. But he's okay. Here are the rest of the pictures.

Gaddaaamm!!!

When I come visit ya, I *must* meet this guy. ;)

Is it called a Cobra cause its the same model from an 80's Stallone movie with the same name? Just wondering. Not really a car person myself..

That totally sucks! I hope your coworkers insurance rates don't go completely through the roof.

i doubt it. a totalled car is a totalled car, as long as his previous driving record is ok.

when kates saturn was totalled, we didnt see a jump in insurance rates

Pat, he wasn't drinking. He was on his way into work. That's not his exit or anything; he was forced to take the ramp to avoid the other driver. Funny thing is that I hardly know the guy and he never makes it down to The Closet. One of the other developers sent me the picture and regaled the story over lunch.

Man, don't you love how other idiot drivers are the ones WITHOUT the accidents, meanwhile causing other normal drivers to roll their cars and drive into walls to get AWAY from them? Glad he's ok.
